Varsavia - Conference closing the European Year of Volunteering 2011 (EYV 2011)

A conference closing and summarizing the European Year of Volunteering 2011, organized by the European Commission in cooperation with the Polish presidency.

During the conference, among other things, the EYV 2011 is to be summarized, and events of the EYV 2011 together with produced documents will be presented (including the EU Council Conclusions Regarding the Role of Volunteering in Social Policy and Long-term Policy on the Development of Volunteering in Poland). Future plans will be introduced and the results of volunteering studies conducted by the CSO in the first quarter of 2011 are to be presented.
Poland’s co-operation with other countries in the field of volunteering in developmental assistance and volunteering development in the countries of the Eastern Partnership (the MFA panel) is also to be described.
